How can I tell what type of fishing he does?
Coarse fishermen never bring home what they catch & use bait such as maggots, bread, sweetcorn or lures. Fly fishermen will often bring home trout or salmon, but will always use artificial flies such as dry flies, nymphs or wet flies.

Do I have to choose a specific date when buying a voucher?
No. All our vouchers are open-dated, valid for two years. However, you can request a specific date at the time of booking if you so require.

Are there any restrictions I should consider before purchasing a voucher?
Sometimes. Check the Factfile for each voucher or contact us to check.

Does fishing take place all year around?
Different types of fishing take place at different times of year. Check the Factfile for each voucher.

How long does a voucher last?
The voucher must be redeemed within two years of purchase.

What does the voucher contain?
The voucher itself is in a cardboard envelope to protect it in the post. The voucher is a personalised card, presented in an embossed folder. The card will contain details of the fishing & instructions on how to redeem the voucher. The voucher is mounted with a fly or lure to be used on the fishing day.

Can I personalise the voucher with a message?
Yes. We can pre-print a special message on the voucher, or, if you prefer, we can leave it blank for you to fill in by hand.

What is the delivery time?
Vouchers are mailed by first class post within one working day of your confirmed order.

How does the voucher arrive?
The voucher will arrive in a plain envelope that does not indicate the contents.

Can the voucher be sent direct to the recipient?
Yes.

How do I book?
Either phone, e-mail or complete the on-line booking form.

How can I pay?
By cheque or credit card.

How do I redeem the voucher?
By calling or e-mailing, quoting the unique booking reference on the voucher.

How will I know that the voucher has been used?
The voucher buyer receives a note to confirm when the voucher is redeemed.

What happens if I choose the wrong voucher?
All vouchers are interchangeable. So for instance, a Foundation Course can be changed to a Day on the River (note: top up fee may apply). If in doubt, choose a ‘Your choice’ voucher.

Can I get a refund on my voucher?
Yes, we will make a refund on unredeemed vouchers, bought direct from Fishing Gift Vouchers, within 14 days of purchase. Note that refunds are only reimbursed to the original purchaser.

How can I get a brochure for myself or a friend/colleague?
Click on Request a Brochure.
