A Day on the River with Charles Jardine

Few would argue that Charles Jardine is the pre-eminent fisherman of his generation and the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) recently honoured him with the prestigious Ambassador Award.

The ‘A Day on the River’ is a great opportunity to spend a day as part of a small group with Britain's most famous & internationally renowned fisherman at Bullington Manor, an exclusive tributary of the famous River Test.

This beautiful river is a perfect chalkstream, with gin-clear water, wild brown trout and grayling, ideal for classic fly fishing with private beats set aside for the sole use of Charles’s group.

Exclusive 1-to-1 day with Charles Jardine

To describe Charles Jardine as a living legend is no exaggeration, but it does make him seem aloof & unapproachable when he is nothing of the sort. A day spent with Charles will open your eyes to a whole host of new fishing opportunities, techniques & perspectives delivered in a relaxing & informative way.

Few would argue that Charles Jardine is the pre-eminent fisherman of his generation and the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) recently honoured him with the prestigious Ambassador Award. At the awards ceremony, held in Montana, USA, in July 2005 FFF chairman Gary Grant said the award was in "recognition of an individual who has gone way beyond the usual efforts to grow the sport on a international basis: it is one of the highest awards we can give – and richly deserved".

As a consultant to some of the leading fly fishing brands, Charles usually has some ‘state-of-the-art’ piece of tackle for you to try out & as President of APGAI he is an accomplished instructor. This is very much a day to be taken at your own pace & Charles will adapt the fishing to suit. If you want to learn some new casting techniques, do some fly tying or go in search of that elusive ‘monster’ Charles will be happy to adapt.

So, look forward to a full day of fun & informative fishing on a private beat reserved for your exclusive use with Charles Jardine.
